I didn't know that last thing about the starfish. That's sort of fascinating. Do they feel pain? If you were to cut one in half, would they grow into two new starfish? I have many questions now.
Anyway, there was this thing that was popular with noble around Antiva City, caviar. Fish eggs, essentially. A delicacy.
Also, there was this one noble I had a contract on once who kept fish in an aquarium, and he told me he'd watched them mate. She lays the eggs and then he comes and spurts on them and wanders off. A very boring affair, all told.
So fish hatch from eggs like birds do. I always wondered why that was? It seems so efficient I wonder why we all don't do that.

Oh, the usual, probably. Cheated a business partner, got in someone's way, insulted another noble's wife; who knows? I didn't really ask in those days, and it's been so long I can hardly remember the first ones.

Hardly. These days are far more peaceful, at least on my end. I haven't had to straighten out a bounty hunter in months.
